The 2022 AGM will be on Monday 5th December at 7.30pm

2022 Art Department AGM

You are requested to attend your Branch’s Annual General Meeting on Monday 5th December at 7.30pm, at Pinewood Studios. This meeting is a fundamental part of the democracy of your union.  It’s where we elect a new Committee for the branch and discuss what your colleagues on the Committee have been working on over the year.  It is an opportunity to raise concerns you have as a branch and to agree motions to improve your local union governance or policy for you as a collective.

What to know more?

Please see the full Agenda here.

We are welcoming non-members in attendance but only those who are members should vote or receive paperwork.

What to get involved?

We are taking expressions of interest to sit on the Committee, with elections held at the AGM. The Committee meet monthly and help plan Branch meetings, build the rate card and work with the wider Branch to stick together to improve your work life collectively.  If you would like to be considered, please complete the form here

2020 AGM

The Art Department Annual General Meeting was held on the 14th May with a record attendance of over 130 people!

The evening was packed full of information on the current Covid-19 situation and we had a huge number of people wanting to join the committee and get involved.

Thank you to everyone who nominated themselves to be on the new committee. We will arrange a date for the first committee meeting very soon. We will be looking at who wants to do which committee role, so please take a look at the roles on the committee page of this site to see what you may be interested in. It's also possible to be a 'helper' for a particular role, or job share a role.

We will also be updating members regularly with a newsletter, and with information on this website.

For any members who you weren't able to attend you can watch the AGM online here.
